Notes
A third-party model is not just a clever text box; it is an external system that may log, process, retain, inspect, or route your input through infrastructure you do not control. At work, prompts can contain source code, customer records, credentials, incident details, contracts, internal plans, or regulated data. The safe default is to treat anything pasted into an external AI tool like data sent to a vendor: allowed only if policy, contract, classification, and business need all permit it.
