- Should I subscribe or buy the lifetime plan?
- The lifetime plan is a single payment that never expires - if you expect to be reading this material in two years, it is cheaper by the second year. Subscribe if you want to start for less than the price of a textbook, or if you know you are here for one specific course. The content is identical; the only difference is how long access lasts and what it costs to keep.
- Is there anything I can read without paying?
- Yes, and without an account. The first two lessons of the first two modules of every course are open in full - and in Inference Engineering, the first two lessons of every module. On top of that the complete curriculum of every course is visible before you pay, every curated video is playable, and the roadmaps, labs, daily papers and tool directory are free. Start with a course and see how far the free part gets you before you decide.
- What happens to my access if I cancel?
- You keep it until the end of the cycle you have already paid for - cancelling stops the next charge, it does not cut you off the day you click. Cancel from your account page at any time. The lifetime plan is unaffected by any of this; it does not renew and cannot lapse.
- These videos are free on YouTube. What am I paying for?
- The sequence, and the notes. Finding the one video on earth that explains backpropagation well takes an afternoon; finding 300 of them in the right order takes months. We did that, we wrote the connective material between them, and we say plainly that the videos themselves are free. If you would rather assemble it yourself, the full curriculum is public - take the list.
- Does the lifetime plan really cover every course?
- Yes. One payment, every course, permanently. Today that is Deployment - 11 modules, 56 lessons, 29 curated so far and counting. User Systems - 7 modules, 34 lessons, 76 curated videos. - Inference Engineering says curation is in progress. What am I buying?
- The full 6-module, 70-lesson structure is written and public, notes and all, and video curation is running now. Every lesson page says plainly whether it has been curated yet. The rest arrive at no extra cost, and you can read exactly what is finished before you decide. The other three tracks are complete.
- How is this different from Coursera?
- We do not record ourselves talking over slides. Each lesson points at the best existing explanation of that concept and puts it in a path that builds.
- Why does the price change when I switch to USD?
- Because they are two real prices, not a conversion. There is a rupee price for India and a dollar price for everywhere else, both fixed, so neither drifts with the exchange rate and you are never billed a surprise amount. Which one you pay is decided at checkout by Dodo, from your card and country - not by this switch, so switching to dollars inside India shows you dollars and still charges you in rupees.
- Can I expense it to my company's L&D budget?
- Yes. You get an invoice. The lifetime plan is a one-time expense, not a recurring one.
- Is there a refund?
- Finish Module 1. If it is not what you expected, email us within 30 days for a full refund.
