Notes

Probability is a way to talk about uncertainty before you know the outcome. A probability is not a mystical property of an event; it is a statement about what you know, what population you are considering, and how often something would happen across many similar cases. If you say “there is a 10% chance,” always ask: 10% of what group, under what information?
